Craig briefs: Coffee party set to meet today

The Craig Coffee Party is scheduled to meet from noon to 2 p.m. today at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss politics and build a better understanding of issues.

Geocachers encouraged to attend
The second annual Geocaching Brown Bag Lunch Meet & Greet is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Loudy-Simpson Park, 500 S. Ranney St.
Newcomers are welcome.
Local UMWA meeting Sunday
United Mine Workers of America Local 1799 is scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Center of Craig, 601 Yampa Ave.

Church hosting gospel meetings
Craig Church of Christ, 795 Green St., is hosting gospel meetings beginning Sunday and ending Wednesday. The topic is “Christian Living in a Modern World.”
Meeting times for Sunday are 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. All other meetings will take place at 7 p.m.
The events are open to the public.

AARP meeting open to the public
AARP Chapter No. 1418 is scheduled to meet at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St. The public is welcome to attend the meeting.
