Craig Briefs: Chamber breakfast slated for Thursday

The Craig Chamber of Commerce’s Wake-Up Craig breakfast is scheduled for 6:47 to 7:47 a.m. Thursday at Village Inn, 1103 W. Victory Way.
The Grand Futures Prevention Coalition is sponsoring the event.
The cost is $5 per person.

Church hosting series of meetings
Craig Church of Christ, 795 Green St., is hosting gospel meetings beginning Sunday and ending July 28. The topic is “Christian Living in a Modern World.”
Meeting times for Sunday are 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
All other meetings will take place at 7 p.m.
The events are open to the public.

VNA offers Thursday immunization clinic
The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is hosting a drop-in immunization clinic for children 11 to 18 years old Thursday at the Craig office, 745 Russell St.
Immunizations will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Meningococcal and Tdap vaccinations will be offered.
Vaccinations can cost up to $14 per shot.
Parents should bring their child’s immunization record and must be present at the clinic.

Preserving the Last Frontier hosts picnic
The Preserving the Last Frontier organization is scheduled to meet at noon July 31 in the picnic area at the Moffat County Fairgrounds for a potluck.
Visitors are encouraged to bring food to share, table service and an item for show-and-tell.
The meeting is open to the public.
