Sheriff to hold online chat today
The Craig Daily Press is hosting an online chat from 5 to 6 p.m. today with Moffat County Sheriff Tim Jantz, who is running for re-election.

Suicide training set for August
Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide is slated to present ASIST Gatekeeper Training on Aug. 5 and 6 at the Moffat County Public Safety Center, 800 W. First St.
ASIST stands for Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training.
The workshop is designed to give participants knowledge and skills to help them know how to intervene when they fear someone might be at risk for suicide.
Participants will learn to recognize suicide and depression warning signs, apply a model for intervention and how to link people with community resources.
The workshop lasts from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is free.
Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided. Donations are accepted.

Ridgeview offering Bible school sessions
Ridgeview Church of God, 690 Riford Road, is scheduled to host vacation Bible school beginning today.
Sessions run from 6 to 9 p.m., and end Friday.
The program is open for pre-school through sixth-grade students.
