My great-granddaughter came in the house and said, “Come see the rainbow.”
Hurriedly, all the chairs were emptied as my family went outside.
I stayed behind and Amber came back.
“Look, grandma,” she said, showing a picture of not one, but two rainbows and a third barely visible in the dark outline of the clouds.
Each rainbow beautifully displayed an arch of colors, each rainbow a little higher than the other. What a wonderful sight and way to spend an evening shared with family.
Also shared was a birthday party earlier in the week for Airoughn Van Grandt, who is now 5 years old.
I have birthdays this week for Twanette Ayres, Mary Sue Herold, Zachariah Tabor, Francis Chisholm and Linda Sandoval.
Get well/speedy recovery to Jim Wells, Jerry Teeter, Mary Lou Hillewart, Ron Moran, James Abeyta and Rose Razzano.
The noon potluck is Friday at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St. See you there.
