American Legion Post 62 will host bingo today at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way in Craig. Doors open at 5 p.m., and games begin at 6:15 p.m. The event is open to the public.

Call scheduled through Sunday

The 124th annual Meeker Range Call celebration continues through Sunday in Meeker.

Today and Sunday feature rodeos, a 5K walk/run, pancake breakfast, barbecue, fireworks and a carnival.

Tickets for the weekend are $35 for adults, $30 for children younger than 12 and seniors older than 55, and free for children younger than 5.

Newspaper hosting online chat

The Craig Daily Press is hosting an online chat with Peter Epp, a candidate for Moffat County surveyor, at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Epp will answer community questions regarding his interest in and qualifications for the surveyor position.

Participants may submit questions to be asked of Epp before or during the chat.

Church set to host Bible school

The Journey at First Baptist, 1150 W. Ninth St., is hosting a vacation Bible school, called “Soul Survivors on Danger Island,” July 26 through 30.

The event, which is open to children up to sixth grade, runs from 8 to 11:30 a.m. each day.

Pre-registration will take place at noon July 11 at the church.
