Legion bingo slated for Saturday night

American Legion Post 62 will host bingo Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way in Craig. Doors open at 5 p.m., and games begin at 6:15 p.m. The event is open to the public.

Church set to host Bible school in July

The Journey at First Baptist, 1150 W. Ninth St., is hosting a vacation Bible school, called “Soul Survivors on Danger Island,” July 26 through 30.

The event, which is open to children up to sixth grade, runs from 8 to 11:30 a.m. each day.

Pre-registration will take place at noon July 11 at the church.

Pet calendar voting downtown today

Public voting for the Humane Society of Moffat County’s 2011 Pet Mates Calendar will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. today during the Farmer’s Market at Alice Pleasant Park in downtown Craig.

Voting is done by donation.

Libraries closed for holiday weekend

All branches of the Moffat County Libraries will be closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday in observance of the Fourth of July.

Branches are scheduled to reopen for regular use July 6.
