Today
10 and 11:30 a.m. Story-time takes place in the children’s room at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St.
2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Love INC distributes free coats at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church/Lutheran Church of Grace, 657 Green St. Coats are limited to one per person. Parents may pick up a coat for a child.
4 p.m. The Moffat County School Board hosts a work session at the Yampa Building, 775 Yampa Ave. Call 824-3268.
4 to 6 p.m. A hot lunch is served at no cost at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The church is looking for volunteers to help set up and cook, as well as drivers to deliver meals. Call 824-5330.
5 to 7 p.m. The Craig Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors offer a business after-hours mixer, hosted by Wyman Museum, 94350 U.S. Highway 40, and MetLife Insurance. There will be food, drinks and a chance to win door prizes, including an LCD HD television. RSVP by calling 824-5689, or e-mail office@craig-chamber.com.
6 p.m. Moffat County High School girls freshman basketball hosts Soroco at MCHS, 900 Finley Lane.
6 to 7 p.m. Open lap swimming takes place at the Moffat County High School swimming pool, 900 Finley Lane. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students. Punch and season passes are available. Call 826-6557.
