Coming off a strong performance in Las Vegas, the Craig Bad Dogs youth wrestling team took 38 wrestlers to the Jan. 23 Beehive Brawl in Richfield, Utah.

The team claimed first place for wrestlers 10-years-old and younger, and fifth place for the six and younger and 12 and younger groups.

The Bad Dogs claimed a first-place team title at a national or regional event for the first time this season, as 19 of the 38 wrestlers placed.

Leading the way was Deven Mosman and Myles Wilson, who took home first-place trophies.

Kaden Hixson, Devlyn Mosman and Drake Montgomery finished second, and Cody Baker, Corbin Beck, Ethan Powers and Mikinzie Klimper all had third-place finishes.

Wrestlers Logan Hafey, Gregory Hixson, Chase Rule, Cody Pleasant, Austin Magnuson, Dominic Beck and Jordan Wright all finished in fourth place, while Drew Rothermund and TJ Shelton finished fifth.

Ashlee Griffiths took home sixth place.

The Bad Dogs will wrestle Saturday at the Fruita Mat Cat Tournament in Grand Junction.
