- Playing Friday at home against Glenwood Springs High School, the Moffat County High School boys varsity basketball team needed a spark. Enter Jordan Wilson. The senior forward scored seven of his 27 points in a 19-4 Moffat County third quarter, but it wasn’t enough, as the Demons won, 80-73.

- Since falling Jan. 15 to Palisade High School, the Moffat County High School girls varsity basketball team is 2-0, including Friday night’s 51-36 win against Glenwood Springs High School at MCHS. The win against the Demons, coupled with the Jan. 16 victory against Delta, has the Bulldogs at 4-1 in the Western Slope League.

- On the surface, Glenwood Springs and Moffat County High School don’t have much in common. Looking at their records, it would appear Glenwood Springs (4-0 in the Western Slope League) has the edge over Moffat County (1-3 in WSL). But that is where the differences end.
