Craig briefs: VNA hosting flu clinic today in Craig

The Northwest Colo­rado Visiting Nurse Association is scheduled to host a drop-in flu clinic for seasonal and H1N1 flu vaccinations for all ages of the general public from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at the VNA’s Craig office, 745 Russell St.

A Spanish interpreter will be available from 4 to 6 p.m.

H1N1 shots are free and seasonal flu shots are $22 for adults and $14 or less for children.

EDP board to meet today at courthouse

The Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership board meeting is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in the second-floor conference room at the Moffat County Courthouse. The meeting is open to the public.

Lunch will be available from $6 to $8.

MCHS class of 1980 planning for reunion

There will be an organizational meeting for all 1980 Moffat County High School graduates at 7 p.m. Feb. 3 at the Holiday Inn of Craig restaurant. All classmates are encouraged to attend to take part in the planning process for their 30-year class reunion.

Sunset Elementary hosts family Carnival

The Sagebrush Read­ing Council is hosting a Family Literacy Carnival from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Elementary School. It is open to pre-school through fifth-grade students. Activities include game booths, pictures, and face painting.

Refreshments also will be available.

Students may bring a book to trade and may also select one new book to take home.

“This is an excellent opportunity for families to have a fun-filled evening and receive a new book for the family library,” according to a news release.
