Parents and seniors are encouraged to attend the 2010 Senior Parent Financial Aid meetings at 6 p.m. today and Thursday in Room 308 at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane.
Discussions will focus on grants, loans, work-study and scholarships, as well as how to sort through various forms and tax documents, which organizers said requires some patience on the part of parents and students.
All necessary forms will be provided at the meetings.

Nurturing Parenting classes beginning
Nurturing Parenting classes are scheduled to begin this month, and organizers urge anyone interested to sign up immediately because space is limited.
The classes run from 5 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday from Jan. 19 to April 13 in the boardroom at the Moffat County School District administrative building, 775 Yampa Ave.
The program provides separate classes for children and parents designed to help families cope with struggle.
The school district and Moffat County Social Services provide funding for the class so it is free to residents.
For more information or to register, call Lynae Ellgen at 826-6282.
