Paternal grandparents are Anthony and Shamra Grajeda, of Craig. The baby was welcomed home by a sibling, sister Myka.
- Jessica and Robert Mogus, of Craig, announce the birth of their daughter, Ember Holly Mogus, on Dec. 23, 2009, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. Maternal grandparents are Jan Henson and George Connelly, of Craig, and Rich Muckey and Cruz, of Brighton. Paternal grandparents are Bob and Twig Mogus, of Sterling. The baby was welcomed home by a sibling, Tabbitha.
- Angelica Avil and Ever Silva, of Craig, announce the birth of their son, Ever Alexis Silva Avila, at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 15, 2009, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Patricia Montoya and Jorge Avila, of Mexico. Paternal grandparents are Tita Silva and Heriberto Silva, of Mexico. The baby was welcomed home by Uriel and Jorge Montoya, and Erik and Axel Silva.
- Miriam and Marvin Hess, of Craig, announce the birth of their son, Derek Dean Hess, at 3:22 p.m. Dec. 16, 2009, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long. Maternal grandparents are John and Velina Showalter, of Greencastle, Pa. Paternal grandparents are Walter and Anna Lois Hess, of Hoosick, N.Y. The baby was welcomed home by three sisters, Damaris, Wendy and Anya.
