- Hayley and Brandon Bower, of Craig, announce the birth of their son, Jamison Michael Edwin Bower, at 6:28 p.m. Feb. 11, 2010, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Linda and Mike O’Neil, of Price, Utah. Paternal grandparents are Bud and Amy Bower, of Craig. The baby was welcomed home by siblings Reagen and Keylee.
- Kayla Green and Devon Miller, of Steamboat Springs, announce the birth of their daughter, Khloe Corine Green, at 9:01 p.m. Feb. 12, 2010, at Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs. The baby weighed 5 pounds, 5 ounces and was 18 inches long. Grandparents are Tambra Green, Mark Green and Shawn Cohen, all of Steamboat Springs; and Cole and Kimberly Greenwood, of Stagecoach.
- Lois Alma and Vernon Yoder, of Craig, announce the birth of their daughter, Amy Nicole Yoder, at 3:45 p.m. Feb. 15, 2010, at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. Grandparents are Walter and Anna Lois Hess, of Hoosick, N.Y., and Alter Yoder, of Roodhouse, Ill. The baby was welcomed home by siblings Lori, Sheila, Theron, Bradley, Melvin, Jeffrey, Wesley, Judy, Darlene and Tonya.

In a 5-1 vote, the board approved a calendar that features an Aug. 30 start date and a 75-minute early release each Friday district-wide to allow for teacher collaboration time.
