11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Craig Girl Scouts host a cookie sales booth at Wal-Mart, 2000 W. Victory Way. Call Becky Forquer at 824-2624.

6 p.m. Craig Kiwanis Club Play tickets go on sale upstairs at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265, 419 E. Victory Way. The play starts at 8 p.m. March 5 and 6 at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion. Tickets are $15 each or $180 for a table of 12.

6 to 7 p.m. Open lap swimming takes place at the Moffat County High School swimming pool, 900 Finley Lane. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students. Punch and season passes are available. Call 826-6557.

6:30 to 10:30 p.m. A Mardi Gras party takes place at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. The event will include dinner, music, dancing, a costume contest, door prizes, casino games and karaoke. Child care is available. Tickets are $15 for adults, or $20 at the door, and $10 for children. Tickets are available at the church office after mass services and at KS Kreations. Call 824-5330.

7 p.m. Class Act Production presents “The Wizard of Oz” at Hayden High School auditorium, 495 W. Jefferson in Hayden. Admission is $5 and $1 for children ages 3 to 12. Call 276-3756.

7 p.m. Fellowship Group of Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 657 Green St. Call 326-6646.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at 1150 W. Ninth St. The group is designed to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups. Child care is provided, and late-comers are welcome. Call 824-5926.

7 to 11 p.m. The Yampa Valley Chorus of Sweet Adelines International hosts the Sweetheart Dance at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion, 640 E. Victory Way. The event includes dance contests, the best tasting salsa contest and prizes. The cost is $8 a person or $14 a couple. Everyone is welcome. Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
