The Craig Relay For Life Kick-off is set for 6 p.m. today at the Holiday Inn of Craig, 300 S. Highway 13.

Anyone interested in participating in Relay For Life may come and learn more, and also register for a team. The event is open to the public.

There will be door prizes and food.

USDA commodities to be distributed

The Moffat County Department of Social Services has released its distribution schedule for United States Department of Agriculture commodities.

The distribution begins from 9 to 11 a.m. today at 595 Breeze St., the northeast alley entrance only, in Craig.

On Wednesday, distribution will take place from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at the Maybell Community Center, and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Social Services’ office in Dinosaur.

SHARE purchasing slated for today

Purchasing for SHARE Craig food orders is scheduled to take place at 10:30 and 11 a.m. today at Sunset Meadows II and Sunset Meadows I, respectively.

Purchasing is also scheduled for 4:45 to 6:45 Wednesday at St. Michael Catholic Church.

St. Michael to host Mardis Gras party

A Mardis Gras party is scheduled to take place from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St.

The event will include dinner, music, dancing, a costume contest, door prizes, casino games and karaoke.

Child care is available.

Tickets are $15 for adults, or $20 at the door, and $10 for children. Tickets are available at the church office, after mass services and at KS Kreations and Studio 7.
