Age: 17, Moffat County High School senior
How did you get your start in your sport?
“My oldest brothers always played, and so I started.”
What strengths do you bring to the team?
“I’m pretty quick, and I think one of our strengths as a team is being aggressive on defense.”
How do you think you have improved throughout high school?
“On the varsity level, you can’t be timid, and you just have to think that you belong there. I think that our team is good at being the leader on the court, where we control the game.”
What do you want to improve on personally?
“Being more confident in my shot.”
Are there any upcoming games you’re looking forward to?
“When we come back from Christmas break, we have two really hard games. There’s a league game against Glenwood, that’ll be really tough. And then Grand Junction, also. They aren’t in our league, but it’s always really fun to see how we match up.”
What is one thing about your team that an outsider might not know?
“We definitely all have our strengths that make us a better team. We’ve played together for a long time, so we can all balance each other out. We know what we’re all good at and what we’re not.”
