The Colorado Snowmobile Association announced winners for a snowmobile raffle.
Steamboat Springs resident John Koak took home the first-place prize, a 2011 Arctic Cat M8 snowmobile.
Troy Madsen, of Craig, won the second-place prize, $1,000 in cash.
The Colorado Snowmobile Association thanked the community for the continued support in Craig, as the Northwest Colorado Snowmobile Club in Craig sold the most raffle tickets in the state at 1,050 raffle tickets.
NOWECOS will use half of the proceeds to maintain more than 107 miles of snowmobile trails in the Black Mountain area, host two days of avalanche safety awareness and practice for the public, and award scholarship money to local high school students.
The other half goes to the Colorado Snowmobile Association.
NOWECOS also thanked the Arctic Cat Snowmobile Manufactures and the Colorado Arctic Cat dealers that provided the 2011 M8 Artic Cat snowmobile and the Colorado Snowmobile Association for providing the $1,000 second-prize money.
