The Moffat County High School girls varsity basketball team has tipped off against the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers in the second round of the Palisade High School tournament.

The Bulldogs are 4-4 this season. In their most recent game, the team lost to 2-0 Rifle, 53-33, in the first round of the Palisade Tournament.

The Panthers are 2-1 this season.

The Bulldogs’ leading scorer early in the season is junior Melissa Camilletti, with 72 points. Senior Lauren Roberts has 61, while junior Annie Sadvar has scored 46.

The team also will play against host Palisade, 3-3, on Saturday.
