Fourth quarter

MCHS turns a 25-point halftime lead into a 41-point blowout win tonight at MCHS against the Grand Junction Central High School Warriors.

Melissa Camilletti leads the Bulldogs scoring with 14 points. Lauren Roberts contributes with 8 points, and Bailey Hellander chips in with 7. An assortment of other players added 6.

Third quarter

The Bulldogs have expanded their lead against the Warriors, and are up 49-18 at the end of the third quarter. MCHS is well on the way to adding their fourth win on the season.

Halftime

The Moffat County High School girls varsity basketball team is up big at halftime of tonight's contest at MCHS. The Bulldogs lead the visiting Grand Junction Central High School Warriors, 39-14.

Junior Melissa Camilletti led the Bulldogs first-half offensive attack with 11 points. Senior Nike Cleverly and sophomore Sassy Murray chipped in with 6 points each.

Pregame

The Moffat County High School girls junior varsity and varsity basketball teams will play Grand Junction Central High School today at MCHS, 900 Finley Lane.

Tonight’s games are the first home contests for the girls teams.

The girls junior varsity team tipped off at 3 p.m. The varsity team will play at 6 p.m.

The varsity team is 3-3 early in the year. In the team’s most recent outing, the Bulldogs beat Green River, Wyo., 52-27, in the final round of the Steamboat Springs Shoot-Out.

The girls junior varsity team is 3-1 on the season, and is coming off a 50-47 loss to Soroco.

Central’s varsity record is 0-4. The team most recently lost, 42-34, to Basalt.
