‘Elegance’ novel on book club’s Thursday agenda
The Craig Book Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 630 Green St. Audrey Kling is slated to review Muriel Barbery’s novel, “The Elegance of the Hedgehog.”

Community invited to go Christmas caroling
The community is invited to join a group who will be Christmas caroling Friday night.
The group will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the north parking lot of First Congregational United Church of Christ, 630 Green St., and will travel in cars. The group will sing at Sunset Meadows I and II, Sandrock Ridge Care & Rehab and The Memorial Hospital.
After the caroling, there will be cookies and hot chocolate at the church.

Vaccine now available through VNA
For a limited time, the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is offering the meningococcal vaccine for $14 for adults and $14 or less for children, the VNA reported in a news release.
The vaccine is available at any of the VNA’s drop-in clinics. Appointments may be scheduled by calling 879-1632 or 824-8233.
Lodore Hall hosting Christmas celebration Saturday night
A country Christmas celebration will take place at noon Saturday at Lodore Hall in Browns Park.
There will be a free dinner consisting of turkey, ham and all the trimmings. Visitors should take a wrapped and labeled gift for children, and a dessert or salad to share.
