6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Balloons for the Moffat County Hot Air Balloon Festival launch from the Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40, or, in the event of high winds, from the Craig-Moffat County Airport.

7 a.m. to 10 a.m. An all you can eat pancake breakfast takes place at the Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40, as part of the Moffat County Hot Air Balloon Festival. Cost is $5 per person.

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Moffat County Hot Air Balloon Festival takes place at the Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40, featuring various events and vendors. The event is open to the public, but costs vary for different events.

5 p.m. A barbecue dinner and live music takes place as part of the Moffat County Hot Air Balloon festival at the Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40. Admission is $5. Children under 6 will be admitted for free. The barbecue costs $9.

6 p.m. The vocal students of Emily Pfeifer present highlights from “The Scarlet Pimpernel” and other popular Broadway musicals during a free recital at the Moffat County High School auditorium, 900 Finley Lane.

6 p.m. to midnight. The 71st annual Craig Fire/Rescue Firefighter’s Ball, with a Hawaiian luau theme, is at the OP Bar and Grill, 534 E. Victory Way. The cost is $10 per person, with food and drinks available at an additional cost. Attendees must be 21 or older. Call 824-5914.

8 p.m. Smores and root beer floats will be served as part of the Moffat County Hot Air Balloon festival at the Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40. A balloon glow will take place after dark.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A tractor pull competition hosted by the Yampa Valley Antique Power Club as part of the Moffat County Hot Air Balloon Festival takes place at the Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40.

11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. An awards takes place as part of the Moffat County Hot Air Balloon festival at the Wyman Museum, 94350 E. U.S. Highway 40. The cost is $9 per person.

1 to 4 p.m. Happy Hands Crochet Club meets at the south back building at 655 Ranney St. The meeting features a pot holder project, and participants should take size 1 crochet hook and four-ply yarn. There is no club cost, and anyone who is interested in learning to crochet may attend. Call Mary Walters at 824-2923.
