Brianna Montgomery-Braun, Moffat County High School girls varsity volleyball coach, resigned from her post on Tuesday.
Montgomery-Braun, of Baggs, Wyo., took over halfway through the 2006 season for MCHS.
In her four years, she guided the team to a 38-40 record and reached the playoffs three times.
In 2007, she was voted the Western Slope League’s coach of the year by her peers.
“We appreciate all of her hard work over the past several years, and we wish her the best of luck in her future plans,” MCHS athletic director Richard Wildenhaus said in a press release.
Wildenhaus said the school will post the job within the week on the school district’s website.
