MCHS swim team does well at Jeffco meet

The Moffat County High School boys varsity swimming team continued its string of strong performances Friday and Saturday at the Jeffco Invitational.
Senior diver Nick Glispy advanced to the final round of divers, and with a score of 207.15, finished 16th out of 28 divers.
Matt Hulstine, who already has qualified for the state meet in the 100-yard breaststroke, finished with a time of 1:05.90 in the same event.
The 200-yard freestyle team of John Kirk, Hulstine, Aaron Byram and Chance Peterson finished with a time of 1:45.59.
The team will host Grand Junction at 4 p.m. Friday at the MCHS pool, 900 Finley Lane.
