MCHS golf second in Glenwood

After weeks of playing indoors, the Moffat County High School girls varsity golf team was able to capitalize outside, as it took second place Monday in Glenwood Springs. The Bulldogs book-ended the top 10, with Heather Nicholson taking first place with an 84, and Callie Papoulas finished 10th with a 103 on the par-72 course.

Rollover on Moffat County Road 22 kills one

Gary Higgins, 23, of Craig, was killed at 8:30 p.m. Monday when a car he was riding in rolled over and he was ejected from the vehicle, according to a news release from Colorado State Patrol.
