Tea Party chapter to meet today in Craig
The local Tea Party chapter is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. today at the Golden Cavy, 538 Yampa Ave., to plan for the April 15 Tea Party demonstration.

Children Festival at Centennial Mall
The 2010 Celebrate Children Festival is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Centennial Mall, 1111 W. Victory Way.
“The festival is a carnival atmosphere that provides booths and stations with fun activities for children and free information for parents,” according to a news release.
Free activities will be available for children ages 2 to 8 years old. All children should be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The Northwest Colorado Council for Children and Families is sponsoring the event.
Elk Foundation banquet Saturday
The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation annual banquet and auction will be Saturday in Steamboat Springs.
Organizers invite Yampa Valley residents to ride the gondola to the highest banquet and auction in the nation. The gondola opens at 5 p.m.

Young Life banquet at 7 p.m. Sunday
Bear River Young Life’s Annual Dessert Banquet, themed “The Road to Real,” begins at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion.
The banquet recaps Young Life’s progress and events of the last year and looks forward to the coming year.
