3 p.m. The Masonic Yampa Lodge No. 88 hosts a cornerstone ceremony at Craig Middle School, 915 Yampa Ave. The event is a traditional rite to christen new buildings. Organizers also will bury a time capsule in the school's wall to be opened in 50 to 100 years.
3:30 p.m. A mandatory skills day for Craig Parks and Recreation basketball players in fifth and sixth grades takes place at Sunset Elementary School.
