Craig The Craig/Moffat Economic Development Partnership board meeting for September and October is scheduled to take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Holiday Inn of Craig, 300 S. Highway 13.

Red Flag Warning in effect today
The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Red Flag Warning for the lower elevations - below 9,000 feet - of Colorado's Western Slope.
The Red Flag Warning is effect from noon until 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Warm, dry southwest surface winds gusting in excess of 25 miles per hour are forecast with relative humidity dropping below 15 percent. Combining with dry fuels, these conditions may create a high probability of large fire growth.
The National Weather Service in Grand Junction provides local weather information to the public at the Web site, www.weather.gov/gjt .
Obtain a weather forecast before beginning any activities that involve using fire and plan accordingly.
A shovel, water and bucket should always be on hand. If ditch or agriculture burns are planned, call the sheriff's office with the date and location of burn.
Girls basketball to host BBQ fundraiser
The Moffat County High School girls basketball team will host a tailgate barbecue meal at the high school, 900 Finley Lane, for the community before the Oct. 9 homecoming football game.
The menu consists of barbecue ribs, sides and a drink.
The cost is $10 per plate. Proceeds benefit the basketball team.
The team will begin serving at 5 p.m. Food will be served until game time or until food runs out.
VNA clinic to visit Sunset Elementary
Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is hosting a drop in immunization clinic for kindergarten shots from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. today at Sunset Elementary School.
