Craig 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Local residents invite the community to be part of Quilt for the Cure, which creates homemade quilts to be given to cancer patients through Yampa Valley Medical Center. The group will meet in the basement of the Moffat County Extension Office, 539 Barclay St. People are encouraged to bring food for a potluck. People do not need to know how to quilt or sew. 9:30 a.m. The Page Turners book club will meet at Serendipity to discuss the "Little House on the Prairie" series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Coffee will be provided. The meal is Dutch style. Everyone is welcome who has ever read one of the books in the series.
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A dedication for The Memorial Hospital's new facility, located off of County Road 7 west of Craig, will take place at 10. Following the ceremony, hospital staff will offer tours to the public. This will be the only chance the public has to see the building before security measures are put in place and the hospital opens to patients Nov. 11. For more information call 826-3100.

4 p.m. The God Delusion/Reason for God Discussion Group meets at McDonald's to discuss the introduction and first chapter of "The Reason for God" by Timothy Keller. The group discusses topics on both sides of faith.
