U.S. Senate candidate Jane Norton will not appear Wednesday morning in Craig as was originally planned.
Deputy Campaign Manager Cinamon Watson said Norton canceled Wednesday's planned appearance at the Holiday Inn of Craig because of news there would be a winter storm in the area.
Watson added that Norton plans to reschedule and appear in Craig at a later date.
Norton will run as a Republican in the 2010 election against Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet.

Ok so they aren't coming to Craig because of a storm?? Give me a break, if some snow is going to scare a candidate from traveling then whats the point in trying to gain ground in rural communities. We live in the snow just fine, something is really wrong with city folk when the intire city shuts down for two inches of snow!!! Yeah she will be back next summer when the chance for snow is gone!!

I wonder if she wasn't traveling anywhere on the other side of the divide when they had a bunch of snow on the ground a couple days ago. Maybe there just isn't enough snow to ski yet and she'll show up when there is.
