Rally America drops Steamboat
National series eliminates nine-year-old Rally Colorado

The annual rally car race that has played out on the dirt roads between Steamboat Springs and Hayden for the past nine years - attracting some of the world’s most talented rally drivers for some of that period - will no longer be a stop on Rally America’s national circuit.
Fire at Craig Motel
Firefighters battled blaze on Yampa Avenue

Craig Fire/Rescue responded at 11 a.m. to a structure fire at the Craig Motel, 894 Yampa Ave., and immediately saw spurting flames, Fire Chief Bill Johnston said.

There were no reported injuries during the incident, which department officials determined was caused by a faulty wall-mounted heater.
