Fire at Craig Motel

Firefighters battled blaze on Yampa Avenue

Craig Fire/Rescue responded at 11 a.m. to a structure fire at the Craig Motel, 894 Yampa Ave., and immediately saw spurting flames, Fire Chief Bill Johnston said. There were no reported injuries during the incident, which department officials determined was caused by a faulty wall-mounted heater.
