Steamboat Springs 12:52 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to an abandoned vehicle at Routt County Road 127 and U.S. Highway 40.
2:13 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a fire alarm in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. A Fire Rescue responder said there was an electrical fire at the Colorado Mountain College Alpine Campus where a heater was malfunctioning and smoking in the basement of Willett Hall. The responders cut off power to the heater, stopping the smoke and the fire danger. The building was empty at the time.
2:53 a.m. Deputies were called to a burglary alarm in the 35800 block of Blazemark Trail.
7:02 a.m. Police were called to a reported two-car crash at Alpenglow Way and Après Ski Way. There were no injuries, police said.
9:32 a.m. Police were called to a report of found property in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.
10:48 a.m. Police were called to a reported crash between a garbage truck and another vehicle at Walton Creek Road and Chinook Lane. There were no injuries, police said.
10:49 a.m. Police, deputies and Fire Rescue emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance in Steamboat Springs.
11:07 a.m. Police were called to a report of vandalism in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. Police said a woman reported that someone had kicked her car.
11:08 a.m. Police were called to a report of found property in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue.
12:09 p.m. Police were called to a request for an officer in the 800 block of Yampa Street.
12:25 p.m. Police were called to a request for an officer in the 800 block of Yampa Street.
1:40 p.m. Hayden police and West Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a request for an ambulance.
1:57 p.m. Deputies arrested a 20-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of being a fugitive of justice for minor in possession, two counts of harassment and false firearms information.
2:04 p.m. Police were called to a burglary alarm in the 1700 block of Graystone Drive. It was a false alarm.
2:24 p.m. Police were called to a reported car crash at Fish Creek Falls Road and Amethyst Drive. Three SUVs were involved in the crash, and no one was injured, police said.
3:56 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 29200 block of Elk View Drive for a report of fraud. The case was turned over to an investigator, a deputy said.
5:17 p.m. Deputies and Oak Creek Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to a reported structure fire in the 300 block of South Grant Avenue.
6:37 p.m. Hayden police, Steamboat police, deputies and West Routt Fire Protection District emergency responders were called to the 300 block of Vista Verde Drive for a reported disturbance. Hayden police arrested a 47-year-old Denver man on suspicion of second-degree assault on an officer, resisting arrest and obstructing an officer.
6:45 p.m. Deputies were called to a car crash on U.S. 40 near mile marker 125.
7:51 p.m. Deputies were called to assist a motorist on U.S. 40 near mile marker 128.
8:27 p.m. Deputies were called to a welfare check at Colorado Highway 131 and C.R. 20.
9:09 p.m. Deputies were called to a complaint about a vehicle on C.R. 20 near mile marker 1.
10:15 p.m. Police were called to a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block of Howelsen Parkway.
11:53 p.m. Deputies were called to a suspicious incident on C.R. 14.
