The baby weighed 8 pounds and was 19 3/4 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Nathan and Leanna Zimmerman, of Belen, N.M. Paternal grandparents are Joel and Joanne Petre, of Craig.
- Kara and John Lathrop, of Craig, announce the birth of their son, Konor Taylor Lathrop, at 4:34 a.m. Nov. 3, 2009, at Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and was 20 inches long. Grandparents are Vicky and Gene McQuay, Steve and Tracey Lathrop, and Pam Lathrop, all of Craig. The baby was welcomed home by a sibling, Kalli Lathrop.
- Kirsta and Joe Jacobs, of Thornton, announce the birth of their son, Eli Joseph Jacobs, at 12:45 p.m. Nov. 2, 2009, at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21 inches long. Maternal grandparents are John and Linda Gustavson, of Grand Junction. Paternal grandparents are John and Debbie Jacobs, of Craig. The baby was welcomed home by his big brother, Patrick John Jacobs.
- Leslie and Shawn Hockaday, of Hayden, announce the birth of their daughter, Emily Ann Hockaday, at 11:57 a.m. Nov. 9, 2009, at Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 19 inches long. Grandparents are Lydia and Vaughn Hockaday, and Robert and Rebecca Witham, all of Hayden. The baby was welcomed home by siblings Tyler and Joseph Hockaday.
- Viviana Chavez and Cesar Carrillo, of Craig, announce the birth of their son, Julio Cesar Carrillo Chavez, at 8:44 a.m. Nov. 4, 2009 at The Memorial Hospital in Craig. The baby weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 3/4 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Concepcion Chavez and Alvaro Chavez, of Mexico. Paternal grandparent is Rita Carrillo, of Mexico. The baby was welcomed home by a sibling, Aaron A. Ramos.
