To the editor:
My question is, what is the idea of a windshield on an ATV?
We do not have to have one on a motorcycle, or one when we are running off road.
The only stipulation is eye protection; this would make more sense than a windshield, as most ATVs do not come with one stock.
I agree that ATVs should have to follow the same laws as any other motor vehicle, but why make the stipulation for a windshield?
I am an avid motorcycle rider, and I do have an ATV that I use to plow snow in the winter time but no windshield. I wear eye protection as it is really hard to see when it is snowing without some.
