9 a.m. Registration begins for the Miss Yampa Valley Pageant at Ridgeview Elementary School, 600 Westridge Road. Contestants are asked to bring a new or like new toy to donate to the KRAI toy drive. The pageant is for girls ages 3 to 18.

The cost is $6 per person, $10 per couple and $20 for a family of four. The cost for additional children is $2. Tickets are available at the door. Call 824-5204.

6:30 p.m. The finale for the Miss Yampa Valley Pageant takes place at Ridgeview Elementary School, 600 Westridge Road. The price of admission is a donation to Moffat County United Way.
