The first official day for Moffat County High School winter sports practice will be Nov. 12.

Consent forms, participation fees and notices to athletes and parents must be returned to the athletic director's office by Nov. 12 to participate.

Physical forms also are due and can be picked up at a doctor's office or the high school's athletics office.

The first games of the winter season are scheduled for Dec. 4.

Craig Middle School boys basketball will host West Grand Middle School at 4:30 p.m. today.

The eighth-grade team plays at the middle school, 915 Yampa Ave., while the seventh grade team plays at Sandrock Elementary School, 201 E. Ninth St.

At 4:30 p.m. Friday, the seventh- and eighth-grade teams will travel to Steamboat Springs Middle School to face the Sailors.

At 9 a.m. Saturday, the teams will travel to Rangely Middle School.
