4 to 6 p.m. The Moffat County Youth Services Department and other organizations host a kickoff event for Colorado Homeless and Runaway Youth Month, held throughout November. The event will be in front of the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 W. Victory Way. Speakers will talk about what is being done to prevent homelessness and runaway youth, and what people can do on their own. The Green Light Project also will pass out free green light bulbs, which people can put up on their porches during November to raise awareness and show support for the issue. Call 824-9105.
