Jobs Cabinet seeking to gather public input
For nearly sixteen months, a group of business executives, economic development, education and workforce professionals have been working on enhancing regional and state economies through the Jobs Cabinet. After a year of listening, learning and deliberation, the Jobs Cabinet has developed ideas for aligning the needs of employers with appropriately educated and trained employees.
Before the group makes its final recommendations to the governor, it wants to gather public input.
A Craig session is scheduled for 3 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Colorado Northwestern Community College (Bell Tower Building), 50 College Drive.
The session will include a short presentation by the Jobs Cabinet staff and co-chairs followed by an interactive discussion.
Organizers ask that those who wish to attend RSVP to Becky Dubbert at 675-3301.

Question of the week
Should the Craig Chamber of Commerce revise its State of the County attendance policy to allow people to hear speakers without paying for a ticket?
