Craig — To the editor:
On behalf of the Moffat County School District and its early childhood staff, I would like to thank all those who contributed to the 2009 Children's Health Fair.
Over a two-day period, developmental screenings were conducted with more than 130 children in the areas of communication, hearing, vision, health, dental, motor, cognition, social and emotional development.
This collaborative effort could not have been accomplished without the efforts of many partners, including the
Craig Lion's Club, Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association, Horizon's Specialized Services, Colorado Northwestern Community College nursing students and the Northwest Colorado Dental Coalition.
Special thanks goes to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for allowing us to use their church building for the fifth year in a row.
