Senior Spotlight for March 24

It's supposed to be spring, but it's snowing.

I see spring on the calendar, but I figure spring starts after Easter. How many times have I seen the children go to the park to hunt for Easter eggs, wearing their snow boots, winter jackets, or go to church trying not to get their Easter outfits messed up.

Yep, spring does spring surprises, and snow, rain, etc., are only a part of it.

Spring showers bring May flowers.

On Sunday, there will be an open house birthday celebration for Jean Moore from 1 to 3 p.m. in the dining room at Sunset Meadows I. Other birthdays I have: Irene Moralez, Ruth Seick, Daylene Beldon, Beth Dixon, Mildred Rice, Dorothy Clements and Pat Nicodemus.

Get well/speedy recovery to John McEntee, Betty Reece, Mary Walters, Jaceson Van Grandt, Ted Meyers, Rod Durham and Karen Prince.

The McDonald's senior breakfast is Wednesday. Preserving the Last Frontier meeting is at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Meadows I.

The noon potluck is Friday at Sunset Meadows I. Bingo will follow.

See you there.
