Francisco Reina: We need a change

— To the editor:

This is in regards to the information on the Moffat County High School soccer coach.

It looks to me that the soccer coach does not have the preparations and training, experience or qualifications to lead our team in a professional and reputable way.

Finding coaches with experience is not a miracle. What it takes is to be honest, knowing what you can and can't manage, and handle it in a professional way. If one cannot be honest with himself, he cannot have respect for others.

To be a professional soccer coach is a privilege and a gift, which requires control and patience. With the correct coaching, any boy or girl will put forth better effort and accept any punishment from their coaches.

All sports are to teach the children control, teamwork and self-confidence and to be proud of their accomplishments.

According with the high school's rules and regulations, the people of Moffat County have no control of this. What can we do to change this? We do need a change.
