The Moffat County School Board plans to discuss the three district superintendent finalists at a special public meeting at 7:15 p.m. tonight in the administrative building at 775 Yampa Ave.
Board Vice President Andrea Camp said members will share their thoughts about each of the finalists as well as review input from the district's teachers and administrators.
The meeting will be open to the public, except for a portion at the end when the board plans to talk about salary offers in an executive session.
The three superintendent finalists are Christine Villard, Moffat County School District assistant superintendent; Dennis Wilson, former superintendent of Uinta County School District No. 1 in Wyoming; and Joseph Petrone, who spent 11 years as elementary school principal and curriculum and professional development coordinator with an American international school in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The School Board interviewed each candidate last week. To read about Christine Villard's interview, click here.

Question of the week
Should the Craig Chamber of Commerce revise its State of the County attendance policy to allow people to hear speakers without paying for a ticket?
