DOW officials invited the students - all part of the high school’s wildlife management class - to participate in the agency’s elk radio collar program, which local biologists said will help the state track the animals’ migration patterns.

Dr. Seuss’ (Theodor Geisel’s) birthday is today. When he was 50 years old, he created his first and maybe most famous book - “The Cat in the Hat” - after a publisher challenged Dr. Seuss to use 250 of the most important words for children to learn.
