To the editor:
I am writing this letter in regard to all the animals in the Craig Animal Shelter that are up for adoption.
I took interest in adopting a kitten from the shelter that was in the paper. I was told that to adopt a kitten or even a cat from the shelter that I would have to pay $110.
That is outrageous for a darn cat.
I understand that the vet does a lot to ensure that the cats are in good health, but come on, that is way too much for a cat.
The Steamboat shelter charges $30. They should just give the cats away so they don't have so many cats in that small room.
