Usually this column is about the many changes occurring in our business community, but today I am going to include a business opportunity that I have found.
I think it would be an excellent idea if someone would open up a canoe rental business at Loudy-Simpson Park. Yes, maybe you could do this in the pond, but more appropriately in the walkways between the ball fields.
The large amount of rain that has fallen in the past couple of weeks has formed quite a pond.
The parks and recreation department has done a great job of maintaining the fields, but you need a canoe in order to get into two of the fields and someone could make a mint.
Think about it, maybe this is for you.
Medical clinic cleaning up the commons area
Moffat Family Clinic has removed the boulders, rock and weeds from the borders of its parking lot and replaced it with cement.
The clinic also has a few more plans to improve the look of the 600 Russell St. location.
These plans include resealing and striping the parking lot, as well as adding potted flowers to the landscape. You can reach the clinic at 824-3252.

As you drive west on Victory Way, you will see that Draper Insurance Group has added a fresh coat of paint to its building located at 115 W. Victory Way. You can contact the business at 824-8663.

Karen D. Gilroy M.S. has been serving the Hayden community for more than a year, and she is now expanding her services to Craig.
Gilroy will be working in Hayden each Monday, but she will now be available to you Tuesday through Friday each week at the Natural Health Center in Craig.
