Diane Kalsow: Help was a blessing

To the editor:
A sincere thank you to the Moffat County Sheriff's Office and the Colorado State Patrol, and particularly those who responded to my son's vehicle accident Friday night on Knez Divide.
The young people involved, the other parents and I also would like to publicly thank Jake and Calista Hamill. After the accident, and without cell service, these kids walked for two hours unable to find help until they reached the Hamill property.
Jake and Calista took them in, called law enforcement, and cared for them and their injuries. Thank God they were minor.
The kids are all very grateful, and I can't say enough about Jake and Calista. What wonderful people they are, and what a blessing they are to us all.
