Craig briefs: Raffle to benefit injured Craig man

Tickets now are available for a raffle drawing with proceeds benefiting a Craig man who was injured in a motorcycle accident, and his family.
The raffle prize is 1/4 processed beef, and a ticket costs $10.
Proceeds go to Ricky Bustad and family.
Bustad, of Craig, was injured in a motorcycle accident in May, west of Hayden.
Raffle tickets are available at Cook Chevrolet where Bustad worked, Masterworks Mechanical, Natural Healthcare Center, Cornerstone Realty, Golden Cavvy, Bear Valley Dental or by calling 826-0100 or 701-9023.
The deadline for purchasing a ticket is Aug. 1.
There also is a donation account set up in Bustad's name at Bank of the West, 139 E. Victory Way.
Relay For Life meeting takes place Tuesday
The Craig Relay For Life organization will host a committee member meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane.
Team captains also are asked to attend a meeting an hour later at 6:30 p.m., also at the high school.
The meeting is mandatory. Teams will pick campsites and discuss fundraisers to take place during the Relay event, scheduled for 6:15 p.m. July 17 at MCHS.

Food orders for SHARE Craig taken Tuesday
Food orders for SHARE Craig will be taken at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Meadows II, 595 Ledford St., and at 11 a.m. at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St.
Food orders also will be taken between 4:45 and 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St.
Anyone is welcome to participate and take advantage of the discounted prices.

Caregiver Support Group to meet July 16
The next meeting of the Hayden/Craig Caregiver Support Group is scheduled for 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. July 16 at the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association office in Craig, 745 Russell St.
The meetings are alternated monthly between Craig and Hayden. Respite care is the focus of the July 16 meeting.
