With several blighted places across town and the expressed desire of many local residents to see these areas cleaned, the topic of beautification, particularly in Craig’s warmer months, is one that comes up frequently.

As of July 12, the Denver Newspaper Agency no longer will provide the Denver Post Sunday edition free to Craig Daily Press subscribers.

The Craig Relay for Life organization will host a committee member meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane. Team captains also are asked to attend a meeting an hour later, at 6:30 p.m., also at the high school.

Craig residents who look to the sky at sundown today will be treated to a 30 to 45 minute fireworks display.
