The deadline is today for students who plan to participate in the Moffat County Work and Life Skills program to turn in their registration applications to the Moffat County High School counseling office.

9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Aging Well Program's "Wellness Wednesday" is at American Legion Post No. 62 for individuals ages 50 and older. It includes art, writing and exercises classes throughout the day. Lunch is served at each week's presentation. To register for activities, call 871-7676.

6 p.m. Day three of Hunter Safety Class is at St. Michael Catholic Church, Seventh and Barclay streets, sponsored by Colorado Division of Wildlife. For information, call 824-3628.

6:30 p.m. The Colorado Environmental Coalition hosts a free public screening of the documentary "Last Hat in Town" at the Center of Craig, located at Sixth and Yampa Avenue. The film is about changes to the West brought by the natural gas industry, and it focuses on Rifle, the CEC reports. Call Sasha Nelson at 824-5241.
