Rehabilitation Services of Craig, 473 Yampa Ave., is now host to two new businesses at its downtown Craig location.

Tarissa Fears, a certified massage therapist and a lifetime Moffat County resident, has moved into 473 Yampa Avenue.

Tarissa's Massage Therapy, which formerly operated out of Fears' home, is taking appointments at the new location.

It is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday thru Friday. You can call her at 629-1992 to set up an appointment for a full body message, a Swedish massage, deep tissue massage or hot stone therapy.

Fears said her new location is "easier for clients and really nice to be able to refer them to someone in the medical field if I needed to."

Centennial Home Care

Centennial Home Care opened an office in Craig about five years ago and offices had previously been located at the Centennial Mall. The business is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday for consultations or questions about home health care, but all services are provided in the home.

Tammy Greenwood, a registered nurse, manages services provided by the agency, and the care providers include physical therapists, occupational therapists and certified nursing assistants.

Centennial Home Care is accepting new patients, and you can reach the business at its location or by calling 824-6882.

Great Customer Service

The lack of cell service in Craig is sometimes a frustrating part of life in Craig. But, the folks at JW Snacks, 210 E. Victory Way, have come up with a solution while you are dining at the establishment.

"Everybody would be sitting at the table and their cell phone would ring and they would have to run to the door," JW Snacks owner Danny Griffith said.

So, as a remedy, he installed a wireless cellular signal booster in the building. The signal booster allows for cell phones to receive full service while in the range of the booster.

"It works like a dream," Griffith said.

If you are interested in providing this customer service perk in your business or if you would like this technology at home or in your home, you can buy the equipment from Jackson's Office Supply/Radio Shack in Craig, where you can purchase it by stopping by their store location at 106 W Victory Way or calling 970-824-8114.
