Craig — To the editor:

The Moffat County Fair Board would like to extend a huge thank you to the entire community for their generous support of the Moffat County Fair. Many months are spent in planning and organizing the fair, as many of you well know. Without the many volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to the fair, we could not make it happen.

We strive to provide entertainment for all ages and an opportunity for the entire community to exhibit and promote their agricultural heritage, as well as their skills and accomplishments in the mechanical, industrial, horticulture, consumer science and livestock industries.

Most of you have, by now, received an invite to participate in our sponsorship drive for the 2009 fair. Please remember that sponsorship can be provided not only through monetary support, but also through volunteering to help youths, sharing a skill or your expertise, with in-kind contributions or just by participating in the fair.

Again, we thank all those who support us throughout the entire county. Your generosity is greatly appreciated. Do have a very happy, healthy and safe New Year.
